Cooperation with educational institutions of other countries makes it possible to get acquainted with the best examples of educational innovations, to introduce new pedagogical ideas in one's school, to form tolerance and the ability to live in the world community in pupils.
The Kolkiv Lyceum joyfully opens its doors to guests. The directorate and teaching staff are making efforts to represent the educational institution at the international level.
The cooperation agreement with the Lyceum named after Stanislav Staszyc in Zgrzeż (Poland) was signed on August 25, 2004. Friendly relations were established between educational institutions. 2 bilateral youth exchange projects were successfully implemented, delegations of teachers from Poland and Ukraine visited partner institutions. Kolki schoolchildren, together with their mentors  , rested in the scout group "Grota" several times, took part in   "Educational dialogues", conferences, graduation evenings, anniversary meetings. When families temporarily resettled from the occupied territories appeared in Kolki, Polish friends organized a collection of material aid and delivered a charitable cargo to the families.
Every year, delegations of the educational institution (including teachers and students) take part in celebrations near the village of Kostyukhnivka. There   every year in November, on the eve of the Independence Day of the Republic of Poland, the dead Polish legionnaires are commemorated. At the eternal resting place of the victims of the First World War, services are held, flowers are laid, and the "Flame of Independence" is lit, which the scouts bring to Warsaw on bicycles. Members of the formation unit "Stanytsia - Kolki" were participants in joint camps with   Polish Scouts.
In 2011, thanks to the "Bridges of Friendship" foundation, the directors of the Kolkiv National Technical University and the am Markt gymnasium in Bünde (Germany) met. Delegation exchanges were organized, German language teachers went on training in Germany. And in the summer of 2013, a tripartite youth exchange between Poland-Germany-Ukraine was held.
For the first time in the years of cooperation with Polish partners, in 2017 it was possible to win the project competition held by the Polish-Ukrainian Youth Exchange Council. The funds received made it possible to implement the project "We are a village of one tribe" on the territory of Poland. The beneficiary was the Society of Graduates of the S. Stashits Gymnasium and Lyceum.
"Who but us?" and "The future depends on us" - such bilateral projects on the territory of two states were successfully implemented by the students of the Kolkiv support institution together with the students and graduates of the Lyceum named after S. Stashits in 2018 and 2019. In connection with the pandemic, the joint project "Misfortune does not sleep... - Slavic motifs" (2020) was implemented online for the first time. By participating in the projects, high school students learned to value their history, to be able to live in a multicultural environment, to be tolerant and caring and ready to change the world for the better.
On September 11, 2021, during the implementation of another project "You don't have to be perfect - be real"   the cooperation agreement of the Kolkiv Lyceum with the General Educational Lyceum named after S. Stashitsa in Zgezh, as well as the Union of Graduates of the S.  The Kolkiv base works closely with the US Peace Corps in Ukraine. In 2010-2013 Benjamin Hogue, a volunteer, worked at the educational institution, teaching English to children. And from December 2016 to June 2019, US citizen Chris de Carmen carried out his volunteer activities. The teachers of the educational institution are regular participants of all-Ukrainian conferences, trainings,   seminars on improving language and methodical competence, the use of information technologies and the development of remote teaching skills in pandemic conditions, which are organized by the Peace Corps together with the Ministry of _cc781905-5cde- 3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_education and science of Ukraine. Since 2017, thanks to participation in the GoCamp project, the staff of the lyceum has the opportunity to cooperate with foreign volunteers during the organization of schoolchildren's summer vacation. Volunteers from Canada, the USA and Kuwait worked in the school language camp.
Lyceum school teachers understand the importance of Ukraine's integration into the world community, and therefore try to attract schoolchildren to participate in international competitions and projects, establish ties with young people of other countries, and encourage the study of foreign languages.
